God Bless Amelia

Amelia was Baptized at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Old Town Alexandria on May 3. It was a lovely ceremony, officiated by Fr. Kleinman, who is the pastor. Three other children were Baptized as well. Amelia's Godparents are Jene Meece, Dwight's sister, and Jim Heller, our good friend. We are so thankful for their presence in our lives. 

Although a bit fussy while we were seated, Amelia did remarkably well otherwise -- didn't make a peep when the water was poured over her head, just like her big sister Kiera. After the Baptism, friends and family came back to our house for a nice reception (of which I remember absolutely nothing, but from the pictures it looks like it was fun).  Many thanks to all our friends and family for sharing such a special day with us!
